So, for our family’s second launch we had a professional cameraperson… Space Mama. As you may be able to tell, in comparison to our first launch, we used a slightly more powerful engine. I must say the difference was quite noticeable. But, what do I know? After all we are only just getting started!
We did use the same rocket body and recovery parachute from our first launch. The only issue this time was that I stuffed too much recovery wadding and too tightly in the body. That prevented proper deployment of the parachute. Upon recovery, I discovered that the plastic material of which the parachute is made had melted a bit from the retro-charge. C’est la vie!
